Studio Framer
A signals-based reactive runtime for fine-grained frontend updates.
01 — Intro
Available for select client work
I design and ship whole products — the interface, the API behind it, and the framework underneath when the existing one does not fit. Founder of Blocorbits, based in Lagos, Nigeria.
02 — About
I'm Joshua — a fullstack engineer in Lagos and the founder of Blocorbits. I build the interface, the API behind it, and the framework underneath when the existing one doesn't fit.
How I work
Start from the constraint, model the data, then build the smallest thing that answers it. I ship early, keep the seams visible and leave the codebase readable for whoever comes next.
Custom tooling
When off-the-shelf tools get in the way I build the layer underneath — parsers, compilers, CLIs. Omnis and Studio Framer came out of that habit, not a desire to reinvent things.
AI-native workflow
AI is an instrument here, not an author. I use it for exploration, scaffolding and review against a spec and tests I wrote — which makes output faster without making it anyone else's judgement.
Founder mode
As founder of Blocorbits, I work directly with clients from first conversation to handover: scoping, architecture, delivery and the maintenance that follows. No hand-off to a separate team.

01 / 05
End-to-end products, platforms, and technical explorations. Open any project for its case study.
A signals-based reactive runtime for fine-grained frontend updates.
A FastAPI LMS: courses, content delivery and assessments.
Real-time bookings, live job status and instant notifications for car care.
A custom front-end framework with `.rlm` (Realm) components, zero-build runtime interpretation and AOT compilation.
A client portal where freelancers and clients can follow creative work progress.
02 / 05
A selection of live websites for businesses, organisations, and products.

A technology outsourcing company delivering software and hardware solutions for businesses across Africa.

Construction procurement connecting contractors with verified suppliers of structural materials and equipment.

A community-centered foundation preserving cultural heritage and documenting histories across Nigeria and the Global South.

A Lagos market-shopping and delivery service built around fresh produce, clear pricing, and convenient ordering.

A perfume shop presenting a curated collection of floral, woody, and fresh fragrances.
03 / 06
Small, focused projects made to play with an idea, solve a tiny problem, or test an interaction.

An interactive quiz for testing knowledge.

A compact utility for generating passwords.

A number-guessing game built around clues and repeat attempts.

A small ticketing app experiment.

A quick dice game: roll and match values to win.

A browser-based tool for documenting WebSocket connections, events, and message structures.
04 — Tools
No logo wall. These are the tools I use in production, and the reasoning behind choosing them is in each case study.
05 — Services
I work with founders and teams who need the whole system built — or the one layer nobody else wants to touch. Based in Lagos, Nigeria, working remotely.
Production applications with Next.js and TypeScript: authentication, payments, dashboards and the unglamorous plumbing that keeps them reliable.
Multi-tenant architecture, billing, onboarding and the operational work of running a product after launch — not just an MVP that stops at the demo.
When off-the-shelf tooling fights the product, I build the layer underneath: component systems, templating, reactivity and the CLI to go with it.
FastAPI and Node services with data models that hold: role-based access, background jobs, third-party integrations and clear API contracts.
